about

Richie Mensah is an artist who embodies the description ‘jack of all trades' by virtue of being a singer, songwriter, sound producer, video editor/director, and the CEO of a record label. Born in 1986 and raised in Accra, Ghana, Richie developed a strong love for music at the tender of six and performed on various platforms with his siblings. He has since gone on to win several awards both as a singer and record producer and has established himself as one of the biggest names in the Ghanaian music industry. He has also produced music for various commercials for local and multinational brands and scored music for a number of movies. Richie is also a mentor on MTN’s Hitmaker, Ghana’s largest music talent show, which launched in 2012 and is now in its ninth season. In January 2017, Richie was appointed Director of Music and Industry Standards by the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to work with MUSIGA’s newly established Membership and Business Development Office and lead on their industry standardization efforts. Richie Mensah currently has two of the biggest artists in Africa; KiDi and Kuami Eugene, signed to his record label and he continues to nurture and develop new talent.
